How To Avoid Mess!

BeadsMess is one of life’s great survivors – no matter how much you try to get rid of it, it just keeps coming back!  And, work surfaces and floors can get especially messy when children are creating masterpieces. So, there are a few suggestions I’d like to make to make your life a little easier.

First, if you are using glitter, sand, chips, beads or any small loose craft material on a regular basis you should really invest in our great Tidy Trays. They help to keep all the fiddly bits in one place and are invaluable when it comes to returning unused product to the container.  Useful and economical – double bonus!

Jingle BellsSecond, to keep things neat, tidy and in their proper place in the classroom you’ll need storage tubs. These have a 5 litre capacity and snap seal lids, just perfect for keeping all manner of messy things, such as ice chips, glitter flakes and jingle bells, tidy.

Third, water – it’s always a potential mess hazard when mixed with children. So, use paint pots with lids and stoppers and paint pallets to keep the liquid bits to a confined area and keep some paper roll or towels handy for mopping up the inevitable spills!

And remember – wash any paint spills out immediately or run the risk of a stain!
