Hanging Flower Basket

Early Years and Primary Craft Project
By Justine Goodall

You will need:

Cut a paper plate in half.

With PVA glue, stick the curved edges of the two halves together to make a pocket.

Attach a piece of ribbon to either end so you can hang your basket up.

Decorate with glitter.

Then take two heart craft sticks and decorate with fabric petals to make two flowers. Stick pom poms in the middle of the flowers.

You can then put your flowers in the basket, and remove them at anytime.

This project gives children opportunity to practise:

Using glue
Controlling glitter
Placing items with precision
Following instructions
