Paper Plate Monkey

Early Years and Primary Craft Project

You will need:

Craft Sticks
Wiggly Eyes
PVA Glue
Brown Paint
Paper Plates
Yellow Card
Double-sided tape - optional
Monkey Face Template – download here.


Print the template onto yellow card.

Paint a paper plate brown and leave to dry.

Cut out the face and ears and glue to the paper plate.

Add eyes.

Attach a craft stick to the back to form the handle.

This project gives children opportunity to practise:

Scissor skills
Using glue
Painting skills
Placing items with precision
Following instructions.
